Who We Are

Karing Hearts PAC was founded by East Tennessee residents who got tired of watching corporate healthcare quietly take over their community. We are not a national organization with a national agenda. We are your neighbors, and we are fighting for the same doctors, hospitals, and freedom of choice that you depend on.

Supporting independent healthcare providers, patient choice, and fair competition in Northeast Tennessee.

Why We Exist

Tennessee families have a permanent stake in what happens to healthcare in this region. When one company controls the hospitals, the clinics, and the doctors, they also control the prices, the access, and the options available to you and your family. Karing Hearts PAC exists to make sure that never happens. By organizing residents, funding community outreach, and holding elected officials accountable, we give everyday people a real seat at the table. When you support this PAC, you are not just making a donation. You are investing in a community that stays free to choose its own care for years to come.

How it Started

Not long ago, a piece of legislation moved through Tennessee that would have put small, independent healthcare businesses out of operation across the state. It was written in the language of patient safety. But when you looked at who stood to benefit, the picture became clear fast. The businesses that would have closed were the competitors. The system that would have absorbed their patients was already the largest in the region.

We were among those who would have been affected. And when we started talking to other small healthcare business owners and community members, we realized we were not alone. People were frustrated, scared, and had no organized way to push back.

So we built one.

Karing Hearts PAC was started by a group of Johnson City residents and small healthcare business owners who believe that one company should not get to decide what healthcare looks like for an entire region. We are not politicians. We are not a national organization with outside money and outside interests. We are people who live here, work here, and depend on the same doctors and facilities as everyone else in this community.

We started this PAC because the only way to fight concentrated power is with an organized community. And Johnson City has one now.
